Carolina Coach Sales sells retired charter coaches and school buses out of a 6-acre lot off I-85 in Charlotte. The inventory comes from two places: motorcoach operators cycling out of their own fleets, and school district auctions across the Carolinas.

Every coach on the lot gets a fluid analysis, a brake inspection, and a road test before it's listed. If a bus needs work, the listing says so - the goal is a buyer who knows exactly what they're driving home.

Buyers can inspect any bus on the lot Monday through Saturday. Bring a mechanic if you want - operators who show up with one usually close the same week.
